Be Still, Peace be Still
By Sweet Rhymes

Trepidation fills the air
The sound of trembling in your ear
The grumbling tried to move your chair
They laughed and ate with you
Only to branch out and hate you
They abrasively meditate upon your beauty
And deceptively claim it’s bounty
Substitution by elimination they announce
In seclusion they pounce
And pronounce diabolically on your forehead
Yes you heard
A pound of your flesh
An ounce of your blood
By doing nothing
You did something to them
That indeed is something
Your confidence was labelled arrogance
You were cold as ice by being bold and right
Alas
The mice has cast its dice
To trample your ashes and dust
And finally sit on your chair
Hate is their fate
Anger is their hunger
And sin their pin code
Destruction is a weak foundation
Tumbling towers they shall build
Constipation from their illicit consumption
They shall constantly loathe
Love is stronger than hate
Be still
Peace
Be still
