    please simplify
      • Consider this. What women advocated for was to have equal opportunity to create wealth and opportunity to display their capabilities. In all that some correlation was created to say that beliefs and cultural practices where the reason why women felt stifled.

And so the conversation moved from chasing what is good to chasing what is “better”. What…

What do you think most people that you know would choose between 10% power over one million people or 100% power over 10 people?

      • Blackness posted an update 1 month, 2 weeks ago

@brutallyblunt conflict is about power hey? Everyone needs a bit of power here and there but why do some people want so much of it? What does it give them that they don’t have?

        • See, the pertinent question is why do they want power to begin with. Those who have been oppressed now live to oppress, but this time their own. This power they chase gives them a sense of justice, the justice they never had from those that made them slaves.

July coming up, new month, new hope. Let’s talk conflict why is there so much conflict in Africa? In politics, within the same party, over resources, over almost anything ? Let’s talk conflict

          • A divided Africa will never stand. But maybe the problem is that our differences dont allow us to build together because everyone is trying to get their way.
            • Americans have the Amerian dream and the pride of their Army. The English have the standard of Great Britain to live up to. Germany has a reputation of precision and order they fight for, China has discipline, Japan has order and hard work. Thina we have ama piano 👀
              • @TheGuy. People are hungry for justice, power is a means to appease that hunger and it’s perfect because it affects everyone. It was really about power, there would be very little reason for them to abuse it because what would they have against their abusers?

Eish. You have a point there. However the guy not to take seriously is Ace because he is a talk shop, and is often more surprised by what came out of his mouth than anyone else.

so typical of colonized people. Thy wait for someone to shape their destiny, and when it is too late they complain that the other person is evil, yet they don’t do anything to shape their own destiny. There is a price to pay for being spectators.

So in a way cadre deployment is like eBucks, except that it is SBucks or struggle bucks?

M truly shocked by the amount of small talk on Twitter. The west is at it again sidetracking Africans to talk about celebrities that have nothing to celebrate when there’s serious things to discuss

                    • People are easily distracted, it takes no time for them to skip from one point of focus to another. But what’s more intriguing is that people dont seem to take South Africa’s progress personally. There is no sense of citizenship at all

                        • Hahahahaha the problem is the fight for freedom stops in people heads. The first issue in South Africa was this idea that everything stolen from black people would be returned. This just created a sense of complacency in the minds and hearts of South Africans. Secondly, the promises made to the people of SA by the ruling party also had an effect.…

                        • What is the difference between sitting around a fire telling tales, stories and communicating about community leaders or prominent people in the community, and the use of fourth revolution platforms with hi speed access. Exactly that, the high speed and large access. Human beings want to be entertained, just because an individual watches tv for 1…

What is cadre deployment? Hang on a minute, what is a cadre? What exactly is a cadre deployed to do if he is not qualified and is out of his depth.

                        • Well in short it’s just getting those who were in the struggle to fill positions of influence. And perhaps the thinking behind it is “they fought in the struggle, so they should be able to contribute in such positions”. Its all nonsense and there really is no reasoning behind it.

Honour is not respect. Honour is honour. Lets talk then about collective honour. When you do your Bachelor degree and then honours, what is honours? June 16 is in honour of the learners, but is not respect. For example one can respect women and not honour them. Honour is respect that is acted out maybe? One can respect Kaizer chiefs and not honour them.

Can we discuss honour. What is it? Does it still matter today? The Bible says honour your father and mother. Members of parliament are referred to as honorable. Judges are called your honour. Honorable schools costs more to attend. The royal family of England is so honorable that the world follows their weddings and babies. Do Africans build…[Read more]

                            • Honour is a very tough concept, and probably so because it’s rooted deep in culture. And its purpose has been to venerate authority, in order to preserve its importance and to preserve whatever culture.

Africa is going through a lot.of change. And because of this I would argue that it’s impossible to even identify what it means to be an African.…

                            • “Honour” to me means to have great respect, but surely it is most definitely, earned respect. One will not honour anyone or anything that is not worthy of honour.

My issue of the day is the concept of people refusing to change money because the idea of keeping it gives them pride. Some people would rather starve than change their R200 bill, or even a R50 bill. Some even will use their friends’ money so that they do not have to change theirs. What do you think

                                • Perhaps the larger question should be, why are we not working towards a cash free society, with locally owned institutions owing such
